My work is grounded in my own life experiences, clinical experience and supervision, formal trainings, and healing justice and liberation frameworks. I graduated from the NYU School of Social Work in 2007, and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

For over 20 years I’ve worked in a range of environments spanning a domestic violence shelter, hospitals, and mental health clinics; colleges and medical schools; as well as advocacy, youth development, community organizing, and artistic spaces— in organizational, programmatic, training, and direct service capacities. My trauma-focused skills were especially deepened at the Crime Victims Treatment Center and at Mount Sinai’s Center for Transgender Medicine and Surgery, where I provided free trauma-focused therapy. I am a member of the National Queer and Trans Therapists of Color Network, Inclusive Therapists, and Manhattan Alternative.

I am passionate about my work, and always growing in it. I also have immense respect for my clients’ curiosity and perseverance in understanding themselves and the world around them, and I look forward to hearing from you.
